“The Teaching of Buddha” is the collected book of Sakyamuni Buddha’s teachings. He preached his teachings respectively, in order to allow all people to understand equally. Over 2000 years, the number of Buddhist scriptures became more than 5000. “The Teaching of Buddha” has included the intimate and actual life teachings from these scriptures. We have compiled this easy to understand book so that everyone can receive these teachings.
It is our sincere wish to make the book more available for all the people in the world. Bukkyō Dendō Kyōkai has been making every effort to translate and distribute this book. To date, we have distributed about 7.7 million copies of the book to over 11,000 major hotels in more than 60 countries, and the book has been translated into 44 languages.
